The eighth edition of the Global Stone Congress, the main technical-scientific event dedicated to the Ornamental Stones sector, will take place in Drama, Greece, between June 16th and 20th, 2025.
GSC2025 will feature a series of lectures, poster presentations, round tables, workshops in the areas of Architecture, Innovation and Sustainability. In addition to these initiatives, technical visits and networking moments are being prepared to provide interaction between all participants.
Authors can send an abstract with a maximum of 4 pages, until January 24th, 2025, using the following template:
The acceptance of the abstract by the Scientific Committee will be communicated by March 15th. The authors will then have to submit a communication for presentation at the Congress and scientific publication.

The Global Stone Congress 2025 is organized by the Hellenic Survey of Geology and Mineral Exploration – H.S.G.M.E. and the Greek Marble Association of Macedonia Thrace – SEMMTH.

VIII GLOBAL STONE CONGRESS 16th – 20th JUNE 2025, Drama, Greece
The eight Edition of the Global Stone Congress, the foremost technical-scientific event focused on Dimension Stone sector, will take place in Drama, Greece, from 16th to 20th of June 2025.
Throughout the GSC2025, speakers will present lectures, poster exhibitions, round tables, seminars, and workshops related to Architecture, Innovation, new technologies and Sustainability. In addition to these initiatives, technical visits will be organised to provide participants with interaction opportunities.
